以国家课程为主，融合IE启发潜能和IB理念等先进国际教育理念，以探究式教学和PBL项目式学习为主要学习方式。在高效完成国家课程的同时，开设人工智能、中华传统文化、舞蹈、阅读、国际理解、外教阅读、外教听说、外教艺术、PBL项目等必修特色课程，小班制教学，每班24-30人左右。将中华传统文化与西方现代文明有机结合，坚持中西融会、古今贯通，培养学科基础扎实，外语学科优异，创新精神突出，既有浓厚中国文化底蕴，又有国际视野和国际胸怀的时代新人。

HW integrates the IE and IB educational philosophies with the Chinese National Curriculum, emphasizing inquiry-based learning and PBL. While delivering the national curriculum efficiently, the school offers compulsory specialized courses in AI, Chinese traditional culture, dance, reading, global perspectives, foreign-taught reading, listening & speaking, art, and PBL projects. Classes are small, with 24–30 students per class. By combining Chinese traditional culture with modern Western civilization, HW cultivates students with a solid academic foundation, strong foreign language skills, innovative spirit, deep cultural awareness, and a global vision.

主题探究课程，是以科技、人文、环保为主题的综合性跨学科学习课程。学校研发了24个综合性、跨学科的自然社会探究项目，以科技、人文、环保为主题，融合先进教学理念，设计适合儿童的探究活动，配合社会实践、博物馆参观、户外探究等方式，带领学生探究世界。开展领导力项目，如社区服务、绿色环保项目等，培养学生的领导力特质，激发学生的社会责任感和团队合作精神。重视坚毅教育，结合军事训练、户外拓展等活动，培养学生的坚毅意志和解决问题的能力。

Interdisciplinary courses exploring technology, humanities, and environmental themes. 24 cross-disciplinary projects featuring social practice, museum visits, and outdoor inquiry. Leadership projects (community service, environmental initiatives) and resilience-building activities (military training, outdoor expeditions) are emphasized.

Sports & Arts Curriculum

体育：华外小学以“羽毛球、足球、篮球”为特色体育技能，学生人人学会。学校获评全国足球教育特色学校。篮球校队、足球校队获全区冠军，学校体测成绩优秀。

Sports: Focus on badminton, football, basketball. Recognized as a National Football Characteristic School. School teams win district championships; excellent physical fitness test results.

音乐：每个学生学会一种乐器：口风琴，1-4年级开设舞蹈课。同文管乐团、同文合唱团、大美舞蹈队多次获得国际大奖。教师团队获评黄埔区高质量美育团队、学校获得广东省艺术教育特色学校。

Music: All students learn the melodica; dance courses offered for Grades 1–4. The Tongwen Orchestra, Choir, and Dance Team have won international awards. Recognized as Huangpu District High-Quality Aesthetic Education Team and Guangdong Art Characteristic School.

6. 羽毛球校本课程

Badminton School-Based Program

为搭建羽毛球运动专业启蒙与兴趣培养平台，小学面向一至三年级学生开设羽毛球校本课程，为热爱运动的学子提供优质学习资源。

课程由林丹羽毛球俱乐部全程授课，专业教练团队凭借丰富经验，将科学系统的训练方法融入教学，保障学生获得专业运动启蒙。课程兼顾“兴趣启蒙”与“基础培养”，不设严苛入门门槛，无论是零基础新生还是有初步基础的学生，均可适配学习节奏。课程以“快乐运动、能力提升”为核心，既为学生提供强健体魄、释放活力的空间，也为学校羽毛球人才梯队建设储备力量，为校队选拔奠定坚实基础。

Offered to Grades 1–3, taught by Lin Dan Badminton Club. Focuses on interest cultivation and foundational skills. Open to all skill levels, promoting physical health and talent development for school teams.
